Photos of Fort Adams in Newport, Rhode Island

For those of us who remember Fort Adams from our college days - those of us at a certain age - we remember there was no fence and it was populated by wild goats, sheep, and poison ivy. The poison ivy is still there, and although there may be a fence, there is also a dedicated group of volunteers to protect the National Landmark for future generations (see their website, www.fortadams.org).
